Tolls in Hungary are collected through a digital vignette via the e-Matrica (NÚSZ) digital vignette system. The motorway vignette is linked to a vehicle registration number and can be bought online at once. You can use the electronic vignette quickly and easily via online banking or credit card. A confirmation will be sent to your e-mail address and, if you wish, you will receive a text message confirmation that you can show at a checkpoint. Vignette is required on motorways and some expressways; ordinary national roads are not tolled. Motorcycles (category D1M) also require a vignette. A 1-day vignette is also available.

In Hungary, a vignette is required on most motorways and some expressways. Hungary, along with many other countries in Europe, phased out the conventional sticker vignette and introduced the digital vignette. Motorcycles (D1M) are also subject to the vignette requirement.
