E-toll Netherlands (A24 Blankenburg Connection)
A toll is required for using the new A24 Blankenburg Connection between the A15 and A20 motorways. This is a modern, gateless toll system (e-Tol that uses camera registration. Payment must be made online within 72 hours of passage. This is separate from other tolls like the Westerschelde or Kiltunnel.
Cars, vans, and motorcycles with a total weight up to 3,500 kg. Trailers and caravans do not require extra payment.
Trucks and other vehicles with a total weight over 3,500 kg.
Emergency Vehicles
Emergency vehicles, police, and military vehicles are exempt from toll charges.
If the toll is not paid within 72 hours, a payment reminder is sent. If that is not paid, a fine of €35 will be issued by the Central Judicial Collection Agency (CJIB), in addition to the original toll and other administrative costs.
Post-Payment is Required
The system automatically registers your license plate as you drive through. You are responsible for paying the toll online at the e-Tol website within 72 hours (3 days) of your passage to avoid a fine.
